He helped a patient that was having a difficult time making a decision of whether to go home alone or to a SNF. After the patient realized that she cannot manage her own care by herself at home. Scott facilitated the patient's transfer to a SNF.
I had a complex case that was discharged home (2 ostomies, IV antibiotics, oxygen. etc) and Scott reassured the patient and his wife that he will take care of the patient's needs by supplying them with the appropriate staff. When I called the wife after discharge, she was very grateful that she was referred to a competent and caring company.
I am delighted to share my positive experience with International Home Healthcare. Having Scott (company's administrator/marketer) makes everything easier; he is the middle person between us (the hospital's care coordinators) and their agency, he is prompt and easy to work with. We get an answer right away once we send a referral that needs to be reviewed, this is very vital especially since we have patients that need to be discharged and need to have home health arranged prior to discharge. Their intake team is very professional, and reliable, they are committed to providing quality and compassionate care to their patients.
They also will try their best to accommodate the patient's needs; for example, they are providing an in-person interpreter for the patient, providing pleasant experience for our patients and future patients. This agency knows how to provide quality care by creating a safe and comfortable environment while tailoring services to meet the unique needs of each patient.
